Cheddar loaf, 1.48g carbs per 100g.



As per the loaf I posted last weekend, this time adding in cheddar.
Slight quantity change to the first loaf I made and I missed out the baking powder - I actually found it made no difference.

6 eggs (3.6g carbs)
120g almond powder (5.88g carbs)
3 tbsp coconut oil (zero)
150g grated cheddar (trace)
1 tsp shallot powder (trace)

Once cooked, my loaf came in at 640g.
Total ingredients = 9.48g carbs, so 1.48g carbs per 100g.

Melt the oil, add in the almond and shallot powder, mix in the eggs and finally fold in the cheddar.
Pop into a baking tin (I used a 15cm diameter round tin).
Cook at 190℃ for 45-55 mins.
Either enjoy hot (with melted butter) or allow to cool - slices well both hot and cold!
