Haven't made 'bread' since my last blog post 😲
Simplified a previous recipe post (total carbs in brackets) ;
250g almond powder (12.25)
150g flax powder (4.8)
50g psyllium husk
100g melted butter
50ml olive oil
8 eggs (4)
300ml warm water.
So 21.05g of total carbs for the entire loaf (1.78g per 100g)
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Whisk the butter, oil, eggs & water in a second large bowl. Combien the wet mix into the dry mix, to form a paste like dough.
Spoon into a loaf baking tin, smooth, cook in a preheated oven at 180℃ for 90 mins. Once cooked, leave in the oven for a further 20/30 mins.
Slice and serve 🤗
